Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has given the best chance to get a Low rate Flat in your Favorite Area. DDA has released the 13000 Flats Scheme in Delhi. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has also involved the eight banks for its new housing scheme. Follow the details to Apply or Register. 

A senior official said that DDA has tied up with eight banks — five private and three government — for the scheme. These banks are Bank of Baroda, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, IDBI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, State Bank of India, Central Bank and HDFC Bank.

HOUSING BENEFITS AND DETAILS:

Here’s what the land owning agency is offering in different parts of Delhi under the scheme. This Scheme is set to be launched on 30th-June-2017 with Lt Governor Anil Baijal giving his approval to the urban body’s proposal.

WHAT YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY UNDER DIFFERENT CATEGORIES

 

Forms will be available at select branches of these banks in Delhi only. Sources in DDA said that 99 branches of Bank of Baroda, 48 of Yes Bank, 118 of Axis Bank, 84 of IDBI bank , 50 of Kotak Mahindra Bank , 29 of State Bank of India, 28 of Central Bank of India and 6 of HDFC will be on board.

Types of Flats in DDA Housing Scheme 2017:

  • HIG Flats = Higher Income Group
  • MIG Flats = Middle Income Group
  • LIG Flats = Lower Income Group
  • Single room flat
  • Janta Flats
  • EHS Flats etc

DDA Housing Scheme 2017 Details of houses and their Types:

  • LIG and Single room: 11,671
  • EHS: 563
  • Janta Flats: 437
  • MIG: 398
  • HIG: 79 flats.

Since DDA is also offering the buyers to book the flats online, these banks will be providing gateways for online transactions. The refund to the unsuccessful applicants will also be handled by the these banks. In case of refund or transfer of money only electronic mode will be used with no paper transaction.

Note : The registration amount, which is to be deposited in the banks before the draw of lots, is Rs1 lakh for LIG and Janta flats and Rs2 lakh for MIG and HIG flats.

The DDA has also decided that if the buyer denies taking the possession of the flats then they will not have the option of ‘surrendering’ it. The land owning agency will forfeit the entire registration money which is Rs 2 lakh for HIG and MIG flats and Rs 1 lakh for LIG and Janta flats.

DDA will ensure that adequate public transport connectivity and other services are available before the opening of flats under its new housing scheme .

Under the project, the authority will offer 13,000 flats at locations like Sarita Vihar, Jasola, Dwarka, Pitampura, Sukhdev Vihar, Narela, Rohini, Jahangirpuri, Loknayakpuram, Dilshad Garden, Paschim Vihar, Bindapur and Mukherjee Nagar.

How much does the brochure cost? Cost of the brochure for last scheme was Rs 150. If you download it online, you will have to pay the amount at the time of submission.

How can my bank help? You can apply at the banks that tie up with DDA. 13 banks had tied up last time.

Do I need ID proof? All you need is a photocopy of your PAN card.

Am I eligible? Any Indian citizen, 18 years of age and above can apply. However, you are not eligible to apply if you already own a flat or plot in your or your spouse/child’s name in Delhi.

How many times can I apply? A person can only apply once each year.

If I’m applying can my husband/wife also apply? Yes, both of you can apply separately. However, if both of you are allotted flats, only one can be retained.
